
During the initial consultation we begin to work on the core reasons behind the stressor and the physical and emotional effects it is having # on you. I will gather information on your health, lifestyle and profession to allow me to tailor the therapy to your needs.
I have a Shiatsu massage chair that I use for these sessions to maximise the benefits of a seated massage. I create a relaxing environment using music, lighting and essential oils. I work on the head, face, neck and shoulders with a specific focus on areas identified in the consultation
This will be done in a chair where you feel most comfortable and again a relaxing environment will be created. The session involves washing and massage of the feet, ankles and lower leg using essential oils.
This is a combination of the two sessions which maximises the internal and external benefits of the individual sessions. It can also increases the longevity of the effects.
As with all sessions this needs to be carried out in a place where you feel at ease and relaxed. Working together the causes and effects of your stress will be identified. We will explore a number of practical techniques, for example visualization and meditation, designed to assist you in controlling your own stress levels.
